Psychologist

Liz Plail is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency. She has 34 years experience as a psychologist and a large part of her career has been working with children, adolescents, their families and school communities. Her areas of expertise range from anxiety and depression, peer group issues, health and sleep difficulties, family transitions and needs, communication and social skills concerns, self-esteem and ADHD and ASD. Passionate about employing a positive and strength based approach, Liz engages a variety of therapeutic methods including Play Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She tailors these approaches to the unique needs and personalities of the young people she works with, providing strategies to support their growth. Liz is dedicated to creating a warm, respectful and fun environment to enhance engagement in the therapeutic process. Her joy lies in celebrating the growth and achievements of the young people and families she works with.
