Tina has completed a Master’s Degree in Psychology at Monash University. She is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with endorsement in Educational and Developmental Psychology. She is also a AHPRA Psychology Board approved supervisor. Over the past 26 years Tina has worked with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Tina has worked in various settings including public health, mental health, rehabilitation, educational and private practice settings. Tina has extensive experience in providing individual counselling as well as designing and facilitating therapeutic and psychoeducational groups. Tina has vast experience in using evidence based therapeutic interventions to address a range of presenting issues and these include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) , Mindfulness Based Therapy and Creative Therapy. Tina has specialised in the provision of counselling to adolescents and has interests in positive psychology and strengths-based counselling. Tina is passionate about providing a caring, supportive, non-judgemental and trusting therapeutic relationship, which can facilitate positive change.
