Jeremie (Jem) Trang

Social Worker and Play Therapist (Independent Consultant)

Jem has a background in working with individuals and families that have experienced trauma (including experiences of family violence and sexual assault). Her practice extends to working with children that present with varied presentations such as anxiety, depression, ASD, ADHD, selective mutism, intellectual disability. Jem has a passion for working with children and is a firm believer in supporting children in their early years. She believes that working with parents and other professionals is also key in enhancing the child’s therapeutic experiences and supports. Jem works through a trauma-informed and neurodivergent affirming lens. She utilises different therapies in her practice (such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Filial Play Therapy, Learn to Play Therapy, Child Centred Play Therapy).

Qualifications: Bachelors Social Work and Arts, Master of Counselling, Master of Play Therapy
