Art Therapist (Independent Consultant)
Nazia is a Creative Arts Therapist with an integrative approach, passionate about providing a safe space for creative exploration and expression to support meaning-making. She holds a Master’s degree in Therapeutic Arts and has a background in community integration work, facilitation, coaching, and behavioral practice. Nazia’s strengths lie in interventions, with a key focus on preventative work.
Through creative arts modalities, she helps clients experiment and express themselves, facilitating in engaging with their own narratives. Her approach is centered on the client’s primary goals, working in collaboration with families/carers and incorporating their needs and resources. Nazia adapts to each client’s unique needs, helping them find and explore their preferred ways of being through creative engagement.
Nazia works within trauma support, domestic violence, behavioural concerns, anxiety, self-harm, non-verbal communication, ASD, and attachment issues. She is dedicated to addressing these complex areas through her creative arts therapy practice, providing tailored support to help individuals navigate and heal from their experiences.
