Psychologist
Kelly is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and has completed 6 years of psychology studies, including a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology), Graduate Diploma of Professional Psychology, and Master of Educational (and Developmental) Psychology. She has experience working closely with children and their families across school and clinical settings, providing tailored individualised interventions. Kelly utilises a variety of evidence-based therapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), play therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution focused therapy, adapting her approach to suit each client’s unique needs. She has particular interest in incorporating mindfulness techniques and exercises into her sessions. Kelly also enjoys conducting psychoeducational and developmental assessments and is keen to continue supporting young people with ADHD, Autism and learning disorders. She values building positive relationships with clients and strives to create a fun and engaging environment where they feel comfortable being themselves and gain a deeper understanding of who they are.
